Born into the world of automobiles, I grew up in my father’s repair shop, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of engines and racing. Those early years instilled in me both a fascination with vehicles and a respect for the hard work behind keeping them running. As a teenager, I gained experience across dealerships, moving from detailing cars to managing parts, learning the industry from the ground up.

Life, however, was not without its struggles. During my late teens, I faced homelessness—an experience that tested my resilience and shaped my character. That period of hardship taught me resourcefulness and fueled an unwavering work ethic. When I eventually landed my first desk job in fleet management, I was unprepared for corporate life, but I adapted quickly, piecing together a professional wardrobe from discount racks and tackling challenges with determination and grit.

By the age of 21, I had discovered my passion for process improvement and innovation, setting the stage for a career that has now spanned more than four decades. In that time, I have worked in nearly every facet of fleet management and the automotive industry, from hands-on technical roles to leadership positions. Eventually, I transitioned into consulting, driven by a desire to share the lessons I learned and help others succeed.
